Then the heart wants to live laughing moments,
Sometimes all friends used to smile together,
Now my heart yearns to see them together.
हर खुशी दिल के करीब नहीं होती,
ज़िंदगी ग़मों से दूर नहीं होती,
इस दोस्ती को संभाल कर रखना,
क्यूंकि दोस्ती हर किसी को नसीब नहीं होती.
Not every happiness is close to the heart,
Life is not far from sorrows,
Keep this friendship alive,
Because not everyone is lucky to have friendship.
कोई दौलत पर नाज़ करते हैं,
कोई शोहरत पर नाज़ करते हैं,
जिसके साथ आप जैसा दोस्त हो,
वो अपनी किस्मत पर नाज़ करते हैं.

with whom you have a friend,

आज हम हैं कल हमारी यादें होंगी,
जब हम ना होंगे तब हमारी बातें होंगी,
कभी पलटोगे जिंदगी के ये पन्ने,
तब शायद आपकी आंखों से भी बरसातें होंगी.

दोस्तों की कमी को पहचानते हैं हम,
